As I sit in silence, my sin I clearly see
Jesus you are always the better part of me
Oh the hammer and the nails,
oh the crown of twisted thorns
Oh the bruising and the blood,
the empty tomb come Easter morn
The loaf of bread is broken,
the chalice passed around
Humble words are spoken,
our heads are all bowed down
We sing songs of worship,
praising who You are
The healer of our sorrows,
our bright and morning star
And I think to myself as I rise to leave
