March 2010 Prayer Calendar
1 Mon: Pray for Katie Everly as she travels to Morgantown to have some test run. She and husband Preston are expecting there first child, They need check on what may be a mass on the umbilical chord where it attaches to the baby.
2 Tue: Pray for Todd and I and also Nathan Eliot as we run the time release program for Hyndman Elementary School
3 Wed: Be praying for Pastor Greg Alderman as he prepares to be our main speaker at the New Life Bible Camp’s Men’s Retreat March 26-27. If you have not signed up, don’t wait. The discount dead line is March 15th and last year the lodge was packed.
4 Thu: Be praying for Pastor Greg Miller and also for Chris Sirbaugh as they will be speaking for the Small Group Retreat March 12-14. Greg is speaking Friday night and Saturday morning and Chris will speak Sunday morning.
5 Fri: RETREAT: Pray for Richard Noon as he brings the youth of Camp Springs Community Church of Clinton MD for their annual junior/senior high retreat. I will be leading worship for this event.
6 Sat: RETREAT: Pray for Richard Noon as he brings the youth of Camp Springs Community Church of Clinton MD for their annual junior/senior high retreat. I will be leading worship for this event.
7 Sun: RETREAT: Pray for Richard Noon as he brings the youth of Camp Springs Community Church of Clinton MD for their annual junior/senior high retreat. I will be leading worship for this event.
8 Mon: Pray for me as I prepare to speak for the Father/Son Banquet in Bedford County that is being sponsored by the Fishertown Community Church. The event takes place tomorrow night.
9 Tue: Pray for Todd and I and also Nathan Eliot as we run the time release program for Hyndman Elementary School. Also remember me as I sing and speak at the Father/Son Banquet.
10 Wed: Pray for me as I do some prep work to get ready for the Small Group Retreat, such as developing the devotional curriculum for the mornings and putting together the worship sets for each session. We have about 90 signed up for this event. Should be a blast.
11 Thu: Pray for the Zimmerman Family as they prepare to lead worship at the Small Group Event on March 13th. The youth really enjoyed them last year and we are glad that they are able to return.
12 Fri: RETREAT Event: “The Mystery of God” weekend: The Small Group Retreat will be attended by 8 youth groups and we are expecting about 90 to participate. Pray for me as I lead worship and lead morning devotions. Greg Miller will be speaking this evening on The Mystery of God in Salvation.
13 Sat: RETREAT Event: “The Mystery of God” weekend: Greg Miller will be speaking this morning on The Mystery of God in Sanctification and the Zimmerman Family will be in concert and will also lead worship for the evening session.
14 Sun: RETREAT Event: “The Mystery of God” weekend: Chris Sirbaugh will be speaking at our final session on The Mystery of God in Justification, which will be followed by a communion service.
Pray for me as I lead worship and lead morning devotions.
15 Mon: Pray for me as I try to keep my educational goals. I have enrolled in an online course “Systematic Theology” through Master’s Divinity School. I have completed 3 courses with them so far and need to complete 6 more classes for a Master’s Degree in Theology & Biblical Studies
16 Tue: Pray for Todd and I and also Nathan Eliot as we run the time release program for Hyndman Elementary School
17 Wed: Continue to pray for my cousin’s son-in-law, Nate, who is recovering from a serious battlefield wound he received while on military duty in Afghanistan.
18 Thu: Continue to pray for Marty Stewart. He is from Waynesburg, PA. He has necrotizing pancreatitis. Please pray for him and the family!
19 Fri: RETREAT: Chantilly Bible Church of Chantilly, VA will hold their annual Men’s Retreat at New Life Bible Camp. I will be assisting with the worship team.
20 Sat: RETREAT: Chantilly Bible Church of Chantilly, VA will hold their annual Men’s Retreat at New Life Bible Camp. I will be assisting with the worship team.
21 Sun: RETREAT: Chantilly Bible Church of Chantilly, VA will hold their annual Men’s Retreat at New Life Bible Camp. I will be assisting with the worship team.
22 Mon: Pray for missionaries, Jim and Vickie Brooks, who are serving the Lord in Africa, working with Allow the Children in Burundi (ministry to deaf is there main focus).
23 Tue: Pray for Todd and I and also Nathan Eliot as we run the time release program for Hyndman Elementary School
24 Wed: Thanks for praying for Tom Lawrence. He is recovering from surgery to remove cancer and seems to be doing well. He is planning on attending the Men’s Retreat this weekend. It will be great to catch up with him and have him join us again.
25 Thu: Pray for Elvin Martin, who has a ministry on North Andros Island, which is part of the Bahamas. Elvin is working with the local churches to establish back yard Bible studies for the youth, and Bible Studies for the adults as well. He also has a heart to teach the young men of Andros some basic construction fundamentals to help them be better equipped to find a good job in the future.
26 Fri: RETREAT Event: New Life Bible Camp will host it’s annual Men’s Retreat. Our Speaker is Greg Alderman and the theme is “The Powerful Influence of a Godly Man.”
27 Sat: RETREAT Event: New Life Bible Camp will host it’s annual Men’s Retreat. Our Speaker is Greg Alderman and the theme is “The Powerful Influence of a Godly Man.”
28 Sun: RETREAT Event: New Life Bible Camp will host it’s annual Men’s Retreat. Usually, a small group of the men stay over Saturday night and we have an early morning breakfast and communion service with them. It is always a great time of fellowship and encouragement.
29 Mon: Continue to pray for the Summer Staff (Main Camp, Adventure Camp, K-Crew). We are in need of two guys to be counselors, but I think the rest of the slots are filled.
30 Tue: Pray for Todd and I and also Nathan Eliot as we run the time release program for Hyndman Elementary School
31 Wed: Pray that the Lord will continue to provide for my financial needs and also for Todd and Chris. Pray that the Lord will keep us in good health as we head into the spring and began making preparations for summer camp program. Thanks for praying!
